Applications are invited in the given proforma for the post of Scientific Officer (Chemistry) (General Central Service, Group 'A' Gazetted, Non- Ministerial) in Pay Band-3 Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 5400/- for Pharmacopoeial Laboratory for Indian Medicine Ghaziabad by Composite method deputation (including short-term contract) plus promotion.
Eligibility:
For Composite Method Deputation (Including Short-Term Contract) Plus Promotion
Officers of the Central Government or State Government or Universities or Public Sector Undertakings or Recognised Research Institutions or Semi-Government or Statutory or Autonomous Organisations:-
(a) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or
(ii) with two year's service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in Pay Band-2, Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4800, or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; or
(iii) With three year's service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in Pay Band-2, Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4600, or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and
(b) Possessing the following educational qualification experience etc.
For Composite Method Deputation (Including Short-Term Contract) Plus Promotion

(b) Possessing the following educational qualification experience etc.
Qualification and Experience:
Essential
(i) Master's degree in Chemistry or Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Chemistry of a recognized University or Institute;
(ii) one year experience in Pharmacopoeial Laboratory or in any other recognized research institution engaged in Pharmacopoeial standardization and testing/analysis of Ayurveda, Siddha and Unani drugs involving the use of modern scientific techniques and instruments.
Essential
(i) Master's degree in Chemistry or Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Chemistry of a recognized University or Institute;
(ii) one year experience in Pharmacopoeial Laboratory or in any other recognized research institution engaged in Pharmacopoeial standardization and testing/analysis of Ayurveda, Siddha and Unani drugs involving the use of modern scientific techniques and instruments.
Desirable
(a) Doctorate degree in Chemistry or Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Chemistry of a recognized University or Institute; and
(b) two years experience in Pharmacopoeial Laboratory or in any other recognized research institution for impart
