The Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Amarkantak has been established by an Act of the Parliament of India. It came into existence by the Indira Gandhi National Tribal University Act, 2007 and came into action on July 2008. The jurisdiction of the University extends to the whole country and it is fully funded by the Central Government through the University Grant Commission. Department of pharmacy has started in IGNTU campus, Amarkantak from the academic session 2016-’17 with the prior approval of Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi. Number of papers for oral and poster presentations will be limited to maintain the quality. Abstracts must be written in English, not exceeding 300 words. The abstract should include title (14pt, bold, upper case, Times new roman), authors names & affiliations (12pt, sentence case, times new roman all through). Poster presentation: The size of the poster should not exceed 120cm (height) and 90 cm (width). The poster must be prepared in English. The contents of the poster should be readable from 1.5 meters.

Qualification
(i) 10+2 or equivalent with Science Stream.
(ii) Diploma or Degree in Pharmacy granted by an Institution of the Central/State Govt, or an Institution recognized by the Central or State Govt.
(iii) Should be registered as a “Pharmacist” under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
