BITS Pilani Goa Campus started functioning in August 2004 and was formally inaugurated by Hon'ble Prime Minster of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh on May 5, 2006.  The Campus is spread over an area os 180 acres and the location of the campus is unique with respect to the scenic beauty and panoramic view of picturesque surrounding with Zuari river, hillocks, waterways and forest. The Campus is about 25km south of Panjim, 10 km west of Vasco-da-Gama, and 22 km north of Madgaon. It is 5.5 km east of Goa Airport, along National Highway - 17B, bypass road.

Applications are invited for a JRF position of BRNS funded project entitled “Design and synthesis of smart supramolecular dyes based on TPE modified PDI–cucurbituril conjugates: their binding and photophysical studies and application in the detection of biogenic polyamines” (Project no. 37(2)/14/20/2017-BRNS/37217). The project is for three years and the date of commencement is 01-04-18.
Candidates with hands-on experience in synthetic organic chemistry and spectrofluorimetry will be given precedence.
Eligibility:
Qualification: First Class in M.Sc. (chemistry) / M.Pharm. (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) / equivalent degree. NET-LS / valid GATE qualification is desirable and will be given precedence.
Monthly Stipend: Rs. 25000/- pm or as per the norms of BRNS based on the highest degree of candidate. Accommodation / HRA may be admissible as per the norms of BRNS and BITS, Pilani.
