Name of the Project : ICAR-NASF*: Understanding the mechanisms of tolerance to low light intensity in rice.

Qualifications :

Emoluments per month (Fixed) : Rs 25,000 + 30% HRA
Qualifications :
Essential: M.Sc. in Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology/Life Sciences/ Allied Sciences/ with 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average with NET/GATE etc. 2 yrs research experience would be considered for SRF; NET/GATE not required for YP II.
Essential: M.Sc. in Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology/Life Sciences/ Allied Sciences/ with 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average with NET/GATE etc. 2 yrs research experience would be considered for SRF; NET/GATE not required for YP II.
Desirable: Experience in molecular biology and microbial techniques.
Terms & Conditions
(i) The posts are purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis initially up to September 2018/March 2019 or till the termination of the project which-ever is earlier.
(ii) The candidate shall not claim regular appointment at this Institute, as the post is coterminus with the project.
(iii) The interview will be held on March 6th, 2018 at 10.00 AM at NRCPB, LBS Building, Pusa Campus, New Delhi-110012. Reporting time and venue: 9:30 to 10:00 AM in the lecture room of NRCPB. If the interview for all posts could not be completed in one day, the same will commence on Next day at the same venue.
(iv) Age limit: Maximum age is 35 years for SRF and 40 years for RA (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women and three years for OBC) while for skilled helper it is 30 years of age (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women and three years for OBC)
(v) The candidates will have to compulsorily bring the filled in application form (four copies as per the format annexed), all the original certificates from matriculation onwards, date of birth certificate, NET/equivalent certificate, degree certificate either original or provisional and one set of the self-attested photocopies of all the required certificates from matriculation onwards and an attested copy of recent passport size photograph pasted onto the application form. Proof of experience and publications also need to be submitted
