About the Conference
IPR (Intellectual Property Rights) is one of the direct measures of economy of a nation and India ranks 44 out of 50 nations in Global IP index. In order to harness the enormous youth potential of our nation, The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India has come up with an initiative to improve the IP Index by constituting Innovation councils at Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). The conference is a part of Institution Innovation Council (IICRIPER) constituted under MHRD’s Innovation Cell (MIC), which mainly addresses the hurdles involved to convert an Idea into a patentable product/ technology with immense market potential.

Ideas Enthusiastic Students/ Faculty can take this opportunity as a platform to present innovative ideas/ concepts/ working models. The best ideas/ concepts/ models will be scouted by mentors through IIC-RIPER for further development into prototypes / products for societal benefit.
